What is Radon?

Radon is a colorless, odorless and tasteless radioactive gas that occurs naturally from the breakdown of uranium in the soil and rocks below. It can enter homes through the ground and when concentrated, it poses health risks as prolonged exposure has been linked to lung cancer. Radon exposure is the second leading cause of lung cancer, only behind smoking cigarettes. Testing for radon is crucial for ensuring a safe living environment.

January is National Radon Action Month, book your testing with Resident Detective Home Inspections, LLC for $75 off.
